Born in 1993, Pollyanna Johnson is a painter living and working near Oxford, England.
Pollyanna had been creating limited edition ceramic pieces, handmade and painted by her. These domestic objects are intricately painted, and primarily consider women that have escaped the walls of the gallery, overcrowded by the male gaze of the painters and paintings that once surrounded them.
Pollyanna is currently focused on creating print designs and ceramics that are hand made and decorated with transfers of her paintings. She is also working on a group of larger paintings, exploring her experience of becoming a mother.
Recent collaborations include - DIOR, Gant & The National Portrait Gallery
